Sex on the screen should be suspenseful, I feel. If sex is too blatant or obvious, there’s no suspense.

Alfred Hitchcock

DELIVERY MAN (dir. Ken Scott) | OCTOBER 2013

To be honest, not a big fan of Vince Vaughn (for no particular reason,) but look forward to this movie.

Upon further research, apparently it’s a straight remake of 2011 Canadian film Starbuck (also directed by Ken Scott.) Hmm… how repetitive.

Michael Haneke did the same with Funny Games (2007) which was a shot-for-shot American remake of the Austrian original made in 1997.

Have to add Starbuck to the watchlist.

I GIVE IT A YEAR (dir. Dan Mazer, 2013)

Now the trailer doesn’t look too promising, but I have a feeling the movie is good.

Maybe it’s because I like Stephen Merchant and Rose Byrne. Also, it’s nice to see Minnie Driver.
